« La

Chers amis/es,
Alors que nous nous battons toujours pour faire
rouvrir le
CEIMSA et que le président nous assure, lors d’un entretien, que
la
recherche en civilisation américaine n’a aucun avenir à
Grenoble et
qu’il ne peut pas laisser un centre comme le CEIMSA exister car il se
«
porte garant du bon emploi des fonds publics », on nous
communique
aujourd’hui certaines informations sur le centre que dirige ce
même
président au sein de notre université et qui nous fait
poser de nombreuses
questions quant à la définition que celui-ci se fait sur
le bon emploi des
fonds publics.
Je vous fais parvenir de récents documents
sur le CEMRA,
centre que dirige le président de l’université M. Chézaud
et je vous laisse constater les graves problèmes de
déontologies qui sont
soulevés par trois de ses collègues quant à la
gestion des fonds du CEMRA.
Ces documents vous informeront sur :
1/ le refus de M. Chézaud
de faire
un bilan financier annuel alors que trois de ses collaborateurs en font
la
demande
2/ La diabolisation des personnes qui osent
demander plus de
transparence sur la gestion des fonds du CEMRA
3/ Le grave problème de déontologie
qui se pose suite à
l’achat par le président de 300 exemplaires de ses propres
ouvrages avec
les fonds du CEMRA et sans concertation au préalable avec ses
collègues.
On peut aujourd’hui se poser une question :
Comment
est-ce que le président de l’université peut se penser
« garant du bon
emploi des fonds publics » et refuser par la même de
satisfaire ses collègues
sur les bilans financiers et les concertations liées à
l’utilisation des
fonds du CEMRA ?

Friends of CEIMSA,
While we
are still busy fighting for CEIMSA to be reopened, and after having
heard our
university President, during an interview, state that there is "no
future
in Grenoble" for a research center
specializing
in American civilization, and after having heard him insist that he, as
the
guarantor of the good use of public
funds,
cannot allow such a center to exist, we
recently have
received pieces of information concerning the research center
that is run by the university president himself. These pieces of
information prompted us to question
the meaning that the
president attributes to the his phrase "the good use of public
funds".
Attached
herewith are the latest documents on CEMRA, the centre which Mr. Chézaud, the university President, is the
director.
These
documents will give you more information on :
1.
Mr. Chézaud s refusal to present
the annual statement
of accounts of CEMRA in spite of the fact that
three
members of his centre had repeatedly demanded for it.
2.
Mr. Chézaud’s habit of demonizing
people who
demand more transparency in the financial affairs of CEMRA
3.
The serious questions of professional ethics raised by Mr. Chézaud’s
purchase of 300 copies of his own book with the public funding of his
research
centre and without consulting his research associates in his center.
Presently,
we can not but ask ourselves the question: How can the President of a
University believe that he is the guarantor of a public institution,
making
sure that public funds are put to good use, and at same time refuse to
give any
account of the use of the funds that the center
which
he directs receive from the French ministry of public education?
