Friends of CEIMSA,
It is becoming more and more obvious that our lives have been captured in a world of absurdities. Predator Capitalism is equipped with an entire handbook of techniques on how to leave no fingerprints behind when capturing the prey. There are millions of men and women today who are well-versed in these lessons, and grew up facing the apparent choice: "to become a pig, or become a pork chop." [A recent cultural expression of the despair caused by this historic 21st-century social displacement to save corporate ruling-class privilege and power is found in the popular song, God Help Us All.]
The choice is a false choice, and the
phony logic that promotes it is exposed by a richer understanding of the real context
in which decisions are made (and who is excluded from the decision-making process). It is only within a contextual understanding
that we can gain some degree of independence from the systemic tyranny that is
imposed on all of us living within this dependent power pyramid called monopoly capitalism.
The study of history is one avenue
that leads to this greater comprehension of who we are,
and it can offer us a more critical view of current events.
The central message that I have been able to discern in the origins, course, and consequences of the Revolution is that the violent destruction of the ancient régime was a crucial step for France on the long road toward democracy. It is necessary to underscore the point that the step was crucial for France, where the obstacles democracy faced were different from those in England. French society did not and probably could not generate a parliament of landlords with bourgeois overtones, in the English manner. Previous tends in France had made the upper classes into an enemy of liberal democracy, not part of democracy’s entering wedge. Hence, if democracy were to triumph in France, certain institutions would have to be gotten out of the way. To assert that such was the connection implies no claim that French history was inevitably bound to culminate in liberal democracy or that the Revolution was in any sense inevitable. Instead there are grounds for holding that the whole process could have worked itself out very differently and that, for this very reason, the Revolution was all the more decisive;
Under the conditions of royal absolutism the French landed upper classes adapted to the gradual intrusion of capitalism by putting greater pressure on the peasants, meanwhile leaving them in a situation approaching de facto ownership. Up until about the middle of the eighteenth century the modernization of French society took place through the crown. As part of this process there grew up a fusion between nobility and bourgeoisie quite different from that in England. This fusion took place through the monarchy rather than in opposition to it and resulted, to speak in what may be here a useful if inaccurate shorthand, in the ‘feudalization’ of a considerable section of the bourgeoisie, rather than the other way around. The eventual result was to limit very severely the crown’s freedom of action, its ability to decide what sectors in society were to bear what burdens. This limitation, accentuated by Louis XVI’s defects of character, I would suggest, was the main factor that brought on the Revolution, rather than any extraordinarily sever conflict of interests along class and group lines. Without the Revolution, this fusion of nobility and bourgeoisie might have continued and carried France forward into a form of conservative modernization from above, similar in its main outlines to what took place in Germany and Japan.
But the Revolution did prevent all that. It was not a bourgeois revolution in the restricted sense of the seizure of political power by a bourgeoisie that already had won the commanding heights of economic power. There was a group of this variety within the ranks of the bourgeoisie, but the previous history of royal absolutism had prevented its growing strong enough to accomplish much on its own. Instead, parts of the bourgeoisie rose towards power on the backs of radical movements within the urban plebs, released by the collapse of order and the monarchy. These radical forces also prevented the Revolution from turning backward or halting at a point suitable to such sections of the bourgeoisie. Meanwhile the peasants, mainly the upper layer at this point, had taken advantage of the situation to force the dismounting of the seigniorial system, the main achievement of the Revolution. For a time rural and urban radicalism, which shared a contradictory mixture of small-property and backward-looking collectivist aims, could work together, as they did up to and through the most radical phases of the Revolution. But the need to get food to the poorer townspeople and the Revolutionary armies ran up against the interests of the more well-to-do peasants. Increasing resistance from the peasants deprived the Parisian san-culottes of food, thereby removed Robespierre’s popular support, and brought the radical revolution to a halt. The sans-culottes made the bourgeois Revolution, the peasants determined just how far it could go. The incompleteness of the Revolution on the other hand, an incompleteness quite largely traceable to the structure of French society in the late eighteenth century, meant that it would be a long time before a full-blown capitalist democracy could establish itself in French society.(pp.108-110)
The conclusions in
Professor Moore’s “recapitulation” are supported with a detailed account
of the quite complex political and cultural evolution
in French social class relationships before and during the Revolution, an
evolution which begs the question: Is the enemy of my enemy my friend? There
are essentially seven issues which he addresses in this chapter on “evolution and
revolution in France.”
1) Contrasts with England and their Origins.
Among the decisive factors in the development of democracy in England were the independence of the landed gentry and nobility from the crown, their adoption of commercial agriculture partly in response to the growth of a trading and manufacturing class with its own strong economic base, and the disappearance of the peasant problem. French society entered the modern world by a very different path. Instead of thrusting its way through to a high degree of independence, the French nobility, or more specifically its leading sector, became a decorative appendage of the king. Though this trend was reversed in the latter part of the eighteenth century, the ultimate consequence was the destruction of the aristocracy. Instead of a landed upper class turning to commercial agriculture in the English manner, we find in France of the Bourbon monarchy mainly a nobility living from what it can extract through obligations resting upon the peasants. In the place of the destruction of peasant property we perceive its gradual consolidation both before and after the Revolution. Commerce and manufacturing in France lag behind that in England. All the main structural variables and historical trends in French society of the ancient régime differed sharply from those in England from the sixteenth through the eighteenth centuries. How and why there was any similarity at all in the final political outcome during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries constitutes, along with some of the important differences, the central puzzle that I shall try to unravel in this chapter. Since without the Revolution it is most improbable that there would have been any similarity at all, this great event will be the central concern of the discussion.
In comparison with their counterpart in England during the eighteenth century, the French nobility lived very largely from dues collected in kind or in cash from their peasants. The origins of this difference reached sufficiently far back into the mists of early French history to make it unwise for an amateur to try peering very far into them, especially since the great French historian Marc Bloch threw up his hands rather than suggest an explanation. Suffice it to say that, by the late fourteenth century and during the fifteenth, many of the basic features had already begun to appear: a seigneur who devoted relatively little attention to the cultivation of his own demesne, which was rather small in size. The demesne seems to have shrunk as the overlord granted out sections of it in small parcels to the peasants in return for a portion of the crop. Where possible the seigneur preferred to let out his land en bloc and in many cases on terms showing that he hoped to regain it at some future date. But this was not always possible. The nobleman was often far away at war, while hands to work the land were hard to come by. The best solution, at least for many, appears to have been to throw the burden of cultivation as much as possible on those tenants who would manage large units or, more often, directly on the peasants. Somewhat earlier the French nobility had begun to acquire a more precise juridical status through rules strictly defined in law.
These two traits of a more definite legal status, even if a far from crystal clear one, and dependence on peasant dues were to distinguish the French nobility form the English gentry for the remainder of its history. At quite an early date the peasant had managed to escape from personal servitude, mainly by capitalizing on the demand for labor in the countryside that increased as the growing towns presented the possibility of another way of making a living. By the time of the Revolution, peasants possessed close to de facto property rights.
Underlying this continuity were also important elements of change. The system of large landholdings worked by serfs began, as we have seen, to undergo modification at least as early at the latter part of the fourteenth century. At the end of the Middle Ages and during the early modern period, perhaps especially during the sixteenth century when an increase in the supply of gold and silver seems to have driven up prices, there are indications of something approaching a crisis in seigniorial incomes. Large section of the old fighting nobility, the noblesse d’épée, lost out heavily. The disappearance of their economic underpinnings may have made it easier for the kings and their talented ministers to extend the royal authority, a process that culminated in the long reign of Louis XIV (1643-1715). Naturally the nobility did not accept their fate passively. Faced with catastrophe, many attempted to backwater, to cease being rentiers and to reconstitute the demesne. But by and large they lacked the economic basis, such as the wool trade, that made such a policy possible in England.
Members of the bourgeoisie who had made money in the towns and begun to acquire land from the distressed nobles had somewhat greater success. The process began in the fifteenth century and continued on through the eighteenth. Through this influx of urban wealth there was some reconstitution of estates. In parts of France it brought about a situation that had some resemblances to England, as the new owners lived on and managed their estates with an eye to profit. But the resemblance is superficial. In seventeenth-century France, as well as later, the profit came not from selling produce on the market but still from collecting rents from peasants. As Bloch observed, the fortune to be gained from a big estate came from collecting a series of small dues, some of them in kind, from a series of small units. Though the task might be turned over to an intermediary, the best prospect of success came from careful, detailed, and rather pettifogging administration.
The situation was an ideal one for lawyers, and in more than one respect. The spreading tentacles of the royal bureaucracy needed lawyers in its struggle against the older nobility. And the rich bourgeois who acquired land moved into higher social circles either through being granted nobility or through purchase of a bureaucratic position (office or charge). Though the noblesse de robe was often troublesome to the king – only Louis XIV was able in time to treat them with deliberate contempt – they furnished one of the main instruments of absolutism in its struggle with localist tendencies and with the older fighting nobility. As there were often good pickings in the royal bureaucracy, especially in the eighteenth century as royal control slackened, its attractions may have served to diminish any tendency to operate an estate along English lines.
In any case the ‘return’ of the big estate was a relatively limited affair. They were not nearly as common in France as in England or Eastern Germany. Large sections of the country were in the hands of the peasants. Thus the system as a whole was one where large and small units coexisted. France did not undergo an extensive enclosure movement. By and large, the large proprietor was interested in preserving peasant tenures because they provided the basis of his own existence. Only in the latter part of the eighteenth century did the situation begin to change.
The decline of the noblesse d’épée was part of the same process by which the king consolidated and extended his authority. In course of the sixteenth century and afterward, the king deprived the nobles of any of their judicial functions, raised soldiers and taxes on their lands, intervened generally in their affairs, and force them to submit to his Parliaments. By the time of Louis XIV, the nobility seemed reduced to a role of magnificent indolence at Versailles or else peaceful vegetation in the provinces. However, this impression is somewhat deceptive. To be sure the Sun King had rendered them largely harmless. But he had to pay certain costs that were only partly advantageous to the crown. He could get good positions for many in the church, which had enormous revenues, as the time much larger than those of the state. In return for the church’s assistance in taking care of a sector of the nobility, the king protected the church against heresy. One consequence was the revocation of the Edict of Nantes. A second form of the cost to the crown was war. Though Louis drove the nobility away from the center of government, he gave over to them the army as well as the church. Perpetual war was the perpetual topic of conversation among the nobility at court and helped to create an atmosphere of loyalty to the king.
The system of compulsory conspicuous consumption at Versailles ruined many nobles. In the provinces too Colbert’s inquiry, conducted through the intendants, revealed widespread poverty. Hence it is tempting to make a connection between royal absolutism and a failure of commercial agriculture to take hold, both factors mutually reinforcing one another over a long period of time. Until quite recently the historians’ accounts of a brilliant and parasitic aristocracy in Paris and of the rural nobleman proudly molding away in the countryside amidst a generally stagnant agriculture pointed toward some such explanation of the background of the Revolution and the disappearance of the aristocracy through revolutionary violence.(pp.40-44)
2) The Noble Response to Commercial Agriculture.
For the latter part of the seventeenth
century and the opening decade of the eighteenth, there is little reason to
doubt the thesis that the impulse toward commercial agriculture was weak in
comparison to that in England, not only among nobility but in France generally.
As it was in England too, the key agricultural problem was to get grain to the
classes that ate bread but did not grow wheat. The grain trade presented a
picture of stagnation broken by some impulse toward production for the market
in the neighborhood of the big cities. There the wealthier peasant rather than
the landed aristocracy appear to have been the main beneficiaries. Market areas
generally did not extend beyond the vicinity of a few big cities and certain
export depots on the frontiers. Only Paris drew
on a substantial hinterland. Most of the territory drew its supplies from
nearby areas.
The
general conception of the grain problem was one of controlling a limited supply
from a limited area. The pull of a few big cities was felt mainly in times of
scarcity, and then as a disruptive factor. In the latter part of the
seventeenth century and the early part of the eighteenth, merchants and their
agents in some localities, mainly near Paris, adopted the practice of scouring
the countryside to buy up any surplus they could find. This practice aroused
much resentment as a disturbance for local sources of supply and grew up in opposition
to both prevailing custom and legislation.(p.45)

To consider only the grain trade runs the
risk of giving a very misleading impression. Wine was a commercial product and
a very important one. Indeed wine was to French agriculture, perhaps even to
eighteenth-century French society as a whole, what wool was to English
agriculture and society in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

The economic and political consequences of
the wine trade and sheep raising are quite different.
In what seems to have been a burst of Gallic enthusiasm, coupled with an
American statistical mania, the distinguished French economic historian C.E. Labrousse has endeavored to demonstrate with mountainous
statistics that a long depression in the wine trade was a decisive factor in
accounting for the generally backward state of the French economy and the
outbreak of the Revolution. The result is to me more overwhelming than
convincing. The link with industrial backwardness in not demonstrated. His two
massive studies, only a small part of the whole undertaking as originally
planned, limit themselves almost entirely to agricultural matters.

Wines that yielded a good commercial
profit seem to have been produced in the same limited areas of France as now.
The advantages of proximity to water transport must have given the port of
Bordeaux a huge advantage during the eighteenth century. Wine provided the
economic basis for a very prosperous and very
commercially minded provincial nobility in and around Bordeaux during the
eighteenth century. Grapes were transmuted into gold and gold into many
attractive forms of culture, varying all the way from dancing girls to Montesquieu’s Esprit de lois. (This distinguished philosopher was at
times what moderns would call a lobbyist for the wine industry.) By themselves,
profits from wine stop there, as they seem to have done in Bordeaux. Viniculture
cannot form the basis of a textile industry as can sheep raising.
Nor can it provide for feeding the city populqtion as
does wheat growing. In any case the impulse for change comes from the cities,
not the countryside. What happens in the countryside becomes important mainly
through the social changes that may or may not overspread what is still the
overwhelming majority of the population during the early stages of industrial
growth.
Wine growing in France did not produce the
kind of changes among the peasantry, such as massive enclosures, that were the
consequence of commercial agriculture in England. Viniculture, particularly in
the days before artificial fertilizers, was what economists call a
labor-intensive variety of agriculture, requiring large amounts of fairly
skilled peasant labor and relatively small amounts of capital either in the
form of land or equipment. The English situation by and large was the other way
around. Now French rural society in the eighteenth century was such as to be
able to take care of the problems of labor-intensive agriculture quite
satisfactorily – from the point of view of the aristocracy if not that of the
peasantry. . . . the essential distinction is fairly
simple: the French aristocrat kept the peasant on the land and used feudal
levers to extract more produce. Then the nobleman sold the produce on the
market. In the case of wine, his legal privileges were especially useful, since
through them he could do a great deal to prevent peasants from bringing wine into
Bordeaux where it could compete with that from a chateau. Lacking privilege of
bringing wine into the city, as well as the resources to postpone sale until
the most favorable moment, the smaller producers found it necessary to sell
their wine to the noble landlord.
In eighteenth-century Bordeaux, good-sized
fortunes base on wine were to be found only among the noblesse de robe,
the juridical nobility whose origins were mainly bourgeois, though, in many
eighteenth-century robe families in France as a whole, the bourgeois
origin might be a matter that belonged to the remote past. The old military
nobility, the noblesse d’épée, was neither
rich nor illustrious.(p.46-48)

Class Relationships under
Royal Absolutism.
For a long time the sale of offices made
good political sense. Inasmuch as it gave the bourgeoisie access to the royal
administration, it made allies among this class. Probably under French
conditions it was an indispensable device in creating the king’s power and
hence in pushing aside the older nobility and overcoming the vagaries of
feudalism to create the conditions of a modern state. And from the king’s point
of view it was both an important source of revenue and a cheap method of
administration, though neither of these features was advantageous to French
society as a whole.
There were at the same time inherent
disadvantages that became increasingly important with the passage of time. The
sale of an office meant in effect that the position became a form of private
property that passed from father to son. Hence the king tended to lose control
over his subordinates. The famous Paulette of 1604 in the reign of Henri IV
granted full property rights to the holders of offices in return for the
payment of a tax and thereby sealed the transition from bureaucratic office to
property. To counter this situation, the kings resorted characteristically to
the creation of new officials, the intendants,
to watch over the activities of others. Even these offices became in time
indirectly subject to purchase.
At first the status of nobility acquired
by purchase of an office was limited to the person of the purchaser. Then it
became hereditary. Under Louis XIV the rule disappeared that three generations
in the same office were necessary to confer hereditary nobility. Since high
offices tended to remain in the same family anyway, the change was mainly
symbolic. The bourgeois drive toward property found considerable satisfaction
through the royal bureaucracy, while any drive toward political independence
was blunted by converting the bourgeois into an aristocrat. Later this aspect
was to limit very severely the power of the monarchy to adapt itself and French
society to ever more pressing problems.
At the height of absolutism the contradictions
and paradoxes of the system were already visible. Without resort to the sale of
offices, ‘the manna that never fails?’ Louis XIV would probably have had to
seek the consent of the nation through the Estates General to raise money.
Hence the sale of offices was at the root of the king’s independence of the
aristocracy, of any effective control by a parliament. It was the key prop of
royal absolutism.
At the same time the practice undermined
the king’s independence. It is at the root of the paradox that the most
powerful king in Europe against whom no domestic resistance was possible or
even imaginable still appears to historians so badly obeyed that he had to
regard disobedience as perfectly normal.
If, in the earlier stages of the monarchy’s
growth, the sale of offices had helped to rally the bourgeoisie to the
monarch’s onslaught on feudalism, continued resort to this device increasingly
revealed that it also imparted feudal characteristics to the bourgeoisie. In
1665 Colbert supported his proposal to a abolish the sale of offices with the
argument that the amount of money tied up in the traffic of offices would thus
be returned to real commerce which would be useful to the state. He suggested
that this amount might be as much as the value of all the lands in the kingdom.
No doubt Colbert’s claim was exaggerated. But his thesis is undoubtedly correct
that the system diverted energy and resource from commerce and industry.
Furthermore, by giving bourgeois commoners a title of nobility and then making
it impossible to supervise their activities closely, the sale offices helped to
build up a sense of corporate identity, immunity for outside influences, and esprit
de corps. Holders of office sealed themselves off from royal influence and
became stubborn defenders of local interest and vested privileges. (pp.58-60)
4) The Aristocratic Offensive and the Collapse of
Absolutism.
Capitalism, as
Jaurès, the great socialist historian of the
Revolution perceived without drawing the necessary conclusions, permeated the ancient
régime, twisting it in such a way as to antagonize important segments of
the privileged classes as well as the peasants, turning them too against the
monarchy. Partly for this reason the radical thrust behind the Revolution, based
on the san-culottes and sections of the peasantry, was explicitly and
strongly anticapitalist. The rich peasants, as we
shall see, set the limits to which radical anticaptalism
could go. Ultimately the forces behind a private property free of ancient fetters
won important triumphs in the city and the countryside. To achieve this victory
the capitalists frequently required the help of their bitterest enemies.(p.69)
5) The Peasants’ Relationship to Radicalism during the
Revolution.
Up to this point the discussion has tried
to illuminate the sources of both rigidity and demands for change that
gradually accumulated among the dominant classes. In analyzing the Revolution
itself the facts compel a change of focus with concentration on the lower
classes. French society broke apart from the top downward as the monarchy, for
institutional and personal reasons, became increasingly unable to control the
divisive forces discussed in the preceding sections. The collapse increased
latent discontents among the lower classes and allowed them to come to the
surface. There is evidence that these had been simmering for some time. Peasant
uprisings in which the little people of the towns also took part strew the
record of the seventeenth century. They occurred in different parts of France
in 1639, 1662, 1664, 1670, 1674, and 1675. By itself, however, popular
resentment could not make a revolution. Whether it increased just before the
Revolution is not absolutely clear; very likely it did. Nevertheless, only when
popular grievances could coalesce even briefly with those of more powerful
groups would they help to bring the monarchy crashing down amid fire, blood,
and smoke.
The causes of earlier outbreaks, the
nature of the peasants’ world, the problems of those
who constituted the great bulk of the French population appear but dimly in
studies of the great days of royal absolutism. As the Revolution approaches,
more details appear until at least some of the main outlines of peasant society
become reasonably distinct. In the absence of the kind of commercial revolution
that took place in England or of the manorial reaction such as that which
happened in Prussia and also in Russia for quite different reasons, many French
peasants had become in effect small property owners. Though it is impossible to
give precise numbers of these coqs de paroisse – their counterpart will be called kulaks
at a later stage in Russia – they were certainly a substantial and very
influential minority. The large majority of the peasants trailed off beneath
them by imperceptible gradations, through those who had tiny lopins de terre,
down to those who had none at all and lived as agricultural laborers. One gets
the impression – but it is no more than an impression – that the number of the
land-short and the landless had been slowly and steadily growing for at least
two centuries. Lefebvre asserts that by 1789 the large majority of rural
proprietors did not have enough land to live on and had to work for others or
find some auxiliary trade. Again general figures are not to be had. But in many
parts of the country families without any land at all may have run from twenty
to as high as seventy percent of the peasant population.
One may discern two major demands among
the poorer peasants. First, and perhaps above all, they wanted a plot of land
if they had none, a slightly larger plot if they had any at all. Secondly, they
were anxious to preserve those specific customs of the village community that
served their own interests. The poor peasants had no generalized attachment to
the village community. When they caught a glimpse of the opportunity to get a
plot of land out of dividing up the common lands of the village during the
Revolution, they were loud in their cries to do so. It was mainly the rich peasants
who prevented the breaking up of the commons, partly because the rich peasants
were often the only ones to use the commons for pasture for the stock with
which they worked their farms. On the other hand, certain collectivist
practices were important to poor peasants. The most valuable was the right of vaine pâture. On
cultivated territory this right was part of the ancient open-field system that
prevailed through much of France in the absence of a powerful movement toward
enclosures. The cultivated fields lay in strips, surrounding the cluster of
dwellings that was the village. All this land had to go through each stage of
the agricultural cycle at the same moment, a practice known in France as assolement forcé,
in German-speaking lands as Flurzwang. After
the harvest had been gathered in, the rights of the proprietor, as Bloch
vividly remarks, went to sleep, and cattle wandered freely over unfenced
fields. In meadows used for hay growing, which by this time might be the
property of a seigneur, the village as a whole, or of a well-to-do peasant, a
similar arrangement prevailed in many areas: after the hay had been gathered,
the meadows would be thrown open for the cattle to graze and eat the second
growth (regain). To the poor peasants the right of vaine
pâture was important because they were liable to
be prevented from making much use of communal lands. Even if they lacked horsed
and ploughs, they were likely to possess a cow or sheep and a few goats that
they used for meat or to raise a bit of cash. Gleaning rights, when hordes of
poor peasants might swarm over the fields for a specified number of days under
the anxious eyes of the owners of the fields, and rights to collect fuel and
pasture animals in the woods, were also significant to them.
The political consequence was a split
within the peasantry and a very marked disintegration of the peasant community.
Like those in many other parts of the world the poor peasants in France were
the main victims as the forces of modernization pried apart the ancient village
society that had governed the division of labor and had provided them a modest
but recognized place within their small world for as long as anyone could
remember. Though French villages, of which there were many different types, by
and large suffered later and less and for different reasons than their English
counterparts, still this society was under very visible attack as the
eighteenth century drew toward its close. The situation of the rural poor drove
many toward violent egalitarian theories. For them modernization meant mainly
that the prosperous peasants were blocking them from dividing up the land
(including that which became available (through confiscation during the
Revolution) and starving them out by restrictions on gleaning and pasture
rights as part of the drive toward modern forms of private property in land. At
the height of the Revolution, radicalism in the cities and the countryside
could join hands, a fact that helps to explain the depth and violence of the
French Revolution in comparison with its English precursor. There was not just
a single peasant revolution going on its own way, sometimes joining, sometimes
opposing the revolution in the cities and the capital. There were a least two
peasant revolutions, that of the peasant aristocracy and that of the larger and
more diffuse majority, each following its own course and also from time to time
fusing or opposing revolutionary waves in the cities.
Turning now to the upper ranks of the
peasantry, it seems at least moderately clear that their discontents came from
their half-way position: they possessed the land without really owning it. As
is well known, the legal and social position of the French peasantry, at any
rate at its upper levels, was subject to fewer repressive restraints than in
any other large country on the continent. Most of them were personally free. To
the extent that we can glimpse their demands through the refractions of the cahiers,
we can see that they wanted mainly to eliminate the arbitrary aspects of the
feudal system that had been increasing in the last years of the old order. In
sharp contrast with the bourgeoisie, they did not attack the social position
and special privileges of the nobility. Instead, they often expressly
acknowledged them, a fact which suggests that they could not understand any
general connection between the privileges of the nobility and their own
problems. Evidently in 1789 it would still take serious shocks to turn the peasqnts into an active revolutionary force. These shocks
were not long in coming.(pp.70-74)

It is fair … to hold that
the peasantry was the arbiter of the Revolution ,though
not its chief propelling force. And even if it was not the main propelling
force, it was a very important one, largely responsible for what in retrospect
seems the most important and lasting achievement of the Revolution, the
dismantling of feudalism.(p.77)

Thus both the rural and the
urban radicals shared a common hostility at this point to the rich who were
profiting from the Revolution and to the unfettered workings of the market.
Further evidence that urban and rural radicalism were seeking compatible
objectives comes from a significant detail reported by Mathiez
about the uprising of May 31, 1793. Some months before, delegates from the fédérés of eighty-three départments
had come to Paris. Though the Gironde leaders hoped to use this group in its
struggle against the Paris Commune and the Montagne,
the delegates fell under the influence of the enragés.
That provincials whom the Gironde hoped to use were susceptible to such ideas
indicates the general strength of anticapitalist
radicalism at this juncture.

To sum up the meaning of the uprising and the events surrounding it,
the bourgeois revolution had been pushed sharply to the left under radical
pressure and forced to shed the moderates (dramatized in the arrest of
thirty-one Girondist deputes on June 2), while the
urban radicals and the peasants were still marching together even if in ragged
formation.
The popular upsurge helped to make possible the heroic and desperate period of the Revolution, the reign of terror and the so-called dictatorship of the Committee of public Safety, the creation of a new army, the driving of those allied against France back across the Rhine, the defeat of the counterrevolution in the Vendée. Actually, of course, the dictatorship of the Committee of Public Safety was a ramshackle and primitive affair by twentieth-century standards. The technical means of communication and transportation precluded centralized control of the economy. No nationwide measure to ration the consumption of the population was attempted. The failure to ration food was one of the main reasons why the urban sans-culottes failed in the end to stand by Robespierre. On the agrarian side, the key problems were to get grain to the armies first, secondly to Paris and the big cities, and finally to ensure its movement from areas where there was a surplus to areas in short supply. The last aspect was a continuation under new revolutionary conditions of a difficulty that had long plagued the old order.(pp.86-87)

The obvious
and decisive fact of the radical phase is this: the urban sans-culottes
had been able to push the Jacobin leaders into policies that saved the
Revolution but at the cost of turning the peasants against it. The radical
phase might have gone further if the government in Paris had been able to count
on the mass of the poor peasants against the wealthier ones. But the
government’s limited capacity and willingness to enforce price controls helped
to prevent this split for, materializing. Rising prices worked hardship on the
small-plot owners who had little to sell and on agricultural workers who had to
buy at least part of their food. Those suffered the most form the violation of
the maximum. For a time their situation remained tolerable, according to
Lefebvre’s detailed and thorough studies on the North, because the price of
bread rose less rapidly than wages. By the end of 1793 these groups were in
worse straits, Lefebvre holds, than the town dwellers. To the extent that these
conditions prevailed elsewhere in the countryside, they alienated radical
support from the Revolution and dried up the sources of rural radicalism.
In measures they proposed in March 1994,
just before the execution of the sans-culotte leaders, Robespierre and
Saint-Just showed signs of being aware of the fact that they needed to prop up
their government by concessions to the poor peasants. Whether or not the proposals
they made at this time, known as the Ventôse decrees,
were more than a political maneuver is a question still under discussion. What
the episode does demonstrate is that Robespierre and Saint-Just knew very
little about the peasants’ problems and that their proposals fell far short of
meeting demands of the peasants expressed in petitions whose general content
the revolutionary leaders must have known. Even if they had wanted to do more,
Robespierre and Saint-Just had precious little room within which to
maneuver. . . . It would have been very
difficult, perhaps impossible, to meet the expressed desires of the poorer
peasants without putting a spike into the wheels of the bourgeois and
capitalist revolution. As it was, even these mild proposals encounter strong
opposition in the Convention and the Committee of Public Safety itself and
hence came to nothing.
Thus during the radical phase the needs
and aspirations of the urban sans-culottes finally came into fierce and
open conflict with all sections of the countryside. The main symptom was the
deterioration of exchanges between the city and the countryside, especially the
provisioning of the city….(pp.89-90)

Peasants against the
Revolution: The Vendée.
In
revolutions, as well as counterrevolutions and civil wars, there comes a
crucial point when people suddenly realize that they have irrevocably broken
with the world they have known and accepted all their lives. For different
classes and individuals this momentary flash of a new and frightening truth
will come at successive points in the collapse of the prevailing system. There
are also unique moments and decisions – the storming of a palace, the beheading
of a king, and in reverse the overthrow of a revolution dictator – after which
there is no return. Huge sections of the population become part of a new social
order.
These features of the counterrevolution in
Vendée shared with other violent social upheavals,
even if often on the minute scale of the parish or the commune; What seems
rather more unique is the simple transformation of the prevailing social
organization in the countryside from being a legal and accepted order to being
the basis of rebellion. I detect no sign in the literature of the breakdown of
the older society into masses of wandering individuals, of revelatory corwds, and the corresponding forging of new revolutionary
organizations and new forms of solidarity, processes that the communists in a
later age were to learn by trial and error to turn to their purposes.
Nevertheless in many of its features the counterrevolution of the Vendée foreshadows what was to happen as capitalism
impinged on premodern peasant societies. An account
of the actual fighting we may forgo, since what happened beforehand contains
the main lessons for our purposes. Suffice it to say that the repression of the
counterrevolution was the bloodiest domestic act in the French revolutionary
drama. Let us turn instead to a general assessment of revolutionary terror, in
which vengeance taken by peasants and upon peasants claimed a huge and tragic
toll.(pp.100-101)

Social Consequences of
Revolutionary Terror.
The
experience of the Terror and the French Revolution in general gave a strong
impulse to that very influential current of Western political thought which
recoils from political violence in any form. Today many educated people are
still likely to think of the Terror as a daemonic outburst of mob violence
indiscriminate in its choice of victims, later as the expression of blind
hatred and extremism, indeed of a special utopian mentality that lies at the
roots of twentieth-century totalitarianism. I shall try to show that the
interpretation is a distorted caricature.
Like any caricature, this conception
contains some truthful elements without which the resulting image would bear no
recognizable relation to reality. As the victims of the September massacres
[the series of killings of inmates by revolutionary crowds in Paris at Bicêtre, a hospital for men and boys that also served as a
prison for beggars and the homeless, and at Salpêtriére,
a hospice for women and girls to which a prison was attached, that occurred
from Sunday Sept 2 until Thursday Sept 6, 1992 in 1792,] - mainly poor people who happen to be in jail
when the mob burst in – popular resentments could erupt in sudden acts of
indiscriminate vengeance. Nevertheless, a dispassionate analysis cannot just
draw back in horror at this point; it is necessary to perceive the causes. They
are clear enough in the aggravating circumstances of the moment and the history
of degradation and oppression to which the mass of people at the very bottom of
the social order were subject. To express outrage at the September massacres
and forget the horrors behind them is to indulge in a partisan trick. In that sense
there is no mystery here. In another there is. As we shall see most clearly
later, when we come to consider India, sever suffering does not always and
necessarily generate revolutionary outbursts, and certainly not a revolutionary
situation. That problem must wait. For the moment we may take it that popular
desperation and anger were comprehensible reactions to circumstances.
For the Terror to become an effective
instrument of policy, that is, for it to produce significant political results,
the popular impulse had to be brought under some degree of rational and
centralized control. This impulse came mainly from the sans-culottes.
From the very beginning there was more than sheer resentment in the call for
the guillotine. It was a protest against the workings of the market that were
producing untold misery and a primitive way of forcing rich speculators to
disgorge hoarded goods. Though the situation and requirements of the poor
peasants paralleled that of the urban poor for a time, the peasants were not at
all a significant force behind the organized Terror of 1793-1794. Peasant
violence did play a decisive part in the French Revolution, especially as a
force behind the dismantling of feudal practices, but mainly in the earlier’
phases.
As matters turned out, the popular and
bureaucratic impulses were partially fused and partially contradictory.
Essentially what happened was that Robespierre and the Montagne
took over a large part of the program of the sans-culottes, including
the Terror on a massive scale, tried to use it for their own purposes, and in
time turned the weapon back against popular forces. By and large the
consequences were rational. Detailed researches show that the Terror was mainly
used against counterrevolutionary forces and was most severe where the
counterrevolution was strongest. Certainly there were exceptions and
injustices. But the Terror was not in its major features a case of shedding
blood for the insane pleasure of doing so.
Within France counterrevolutionary forces
had two distinct geographical bases, the Vendée, and
the commercial and port cities of Lyon, Marseilles, Toulon, and Bordeaux. The
contrast between these two foci of counterrevolution sheds a revealing light on
the social character of the Revolution itself. The Vendée
was the part of France where commercial and modern influences had penetrated
least; the southern cities, the area where they had penetrated furthest. In the
Vendée, as might be expected, the Terror claimed the
largest number of victims. The situation in the south was almost exactly the
opposite, especially in Lyon where the silk industry had proceeded to the point
of crippling the artisans and producing an incipient modern proletariat. Throughout much of southern France the wealthier
commercial elements in the towns showed a strong inclination to join hands with
the nobility and the clergy, who hoped to use the Gironde and the federalist
movement as an entering wedge for the restoration of the monarchy. As the
Revolution became more radical, a seesaw struggle developed in several of the
cities. . . . The executions in the Vendée and the port cities were, however, only a relatively
small aspect of the red terror as a whole. Less than 17,000 victims died in
executions carried out by the revolutionary authorities. How many died in
prison and otherwise, and were also real victims of the Revolution we do not
know. Greer estimates that 35,000 to 40,000 persons in all may have lost their
lives as a direct result of revolutionary repression, a figure that Lefebvre
regards as quite a reasonable guess, though it is little more than that. That
this blood bath had its tragic and unjust aspects no serious thinker will deny.
Yet in assessing it, one has to keep in mind the repressive aspects of the
social order to which it was a response. The prevailing order of society always
grinds out its tragic toll of unnecessary deaths year after year. It would be
enlightening to calculate the death rate of the ancient regime for such
factors as preventable starvation and injustice if that were at all possible.
Offhand it seems very unlikely that this would be very much belox
the proportion of .0016 which Greer’s figure of 40,000 yields when set against
an estimated population of around twenty-four million, the lowest one that
Greer cites. I think it would be vastly higher. The figures themselves are open
to dispute. The conclusion to which they pointy is
less so: to dwell on the horrors of revolutionary violence while forgetting
that of ‘normal’ times is merely partisan hypocrisy.
Still the reader who feels that there is
something inhuman in this balancing of grim statistics is by no means
altogether mistaken. Even if they were perfect they would not answer some of
the most important and difficult questions. Was the terror and bloodshed of the
Revolution necessary? What if anything did it accomplish? We may close with a
few comments on these points.(pp.103-104) . . .
Barrington Moore described in the first chapter of this book how the English capitalists "broke the back" of the independent peasantry in the 16th century, during the historic Enclosures of the Commons, turning peasants into a "surplus population" to be absorbed into the labor market only gradually, as British capitalism expanded. In this second chapter he described how the French capitalists in the 17th century, rather than liquidating the peasant class, as the English had successfuly done, chose to intensify the agricultural exploitation of French peasants to suit the needs of the large landowners in the new capitalist market economy.
In chapter 3, Moore turns to examine the history of a third variant in the social origins of representative capitalist democracy, as it emerged in America and its social consequences.
The 25 + items below offer interpretations and analyses of
events from the contemporary Anglophone world in crisis. As class struggle intensifies, even
momentary victories are cause for celebration. Congratulations go to Professor Mark
Crispin Miller for winning recognition for his completely legitimate
self-defense in the academic freedom struggle against the NYU administration, which has belatedly
acknowledged that he had violated no university rules during the teaching of
his course on Propaganda Studies. We now await a formal apology from The Chronicle of Higher Education’s editorial board for publishing, on
May 12, 2021, a libelous hit piece on Professor Miller, entitled "The
Professor of Paranoia," written by Mark Dery. The next
victory must be the liberation of Julien Assange, an historic struggle for freedom of the press . . . .

global order with Professor Alfred McCoy, who holds the Harrington Chair in
History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professor Alfred McCoy, the
chair of the history department at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, looks
at past empires and how they disintegrated in his book ‘To Govern the Globe.’
The familiar patterns of decline allow him to speculate about what lies ahead
as the global dominance of the United States crumbles under the weight of
disastrous military adventurism, the collapse of public institutions, a
rapacious and greedy oligarchic elite and inept political and military leadership.
The new world order, McCoy argues, will see China ascendant. “While Washington
was spilling its blood and treasure into desert sands,” writes McCoy, “Beijing
had been investing much of its accumulated trade surplus in the integration of
the ‘world island’ of Africa, Asia, and Europe into an economic powerhouse.”
The key to Chinese dominance, he argues, is its far-sighted strategic focus on
control of the world’s energy and raw materials, increasingly in short supply,
and its investment in a technologically advanced infrastructure. “Each
transition to a new world order has occurred when a massively destructive
cataclysm has coincided with major social change,” he notes, arguing that the
climate crisis will be the trigger for a new configuration of world dominance.

Contrary to the popular narrative that the poor, mostly Black and Hispanic orphans who died in experiments overseen by Anthony Fauci in the Nineties were HIV infected, and expected to die anyway, in his new book The Real Anthony Fauci, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. asserts, citing many sources, that most of them were healthy to begin with.
Fauci at the time was helping GlaxoSmithKline and other companies develop an enormously profitable HIV vaccines, to the exclusion of other cheaper, effective treatments.
The revelations come as the nation's governors and medical authorities continue to follow Fauci in lock-step in every aspect of the pandemic known as COVID, now transitioning to Omicron, even though multitudes of scientists and other countries say up to 80% of COVID deaths could have been avoided but for a relentless campaign by Fauci to deny patients life-saving remedies such as Ivermectin. Denial of Ivermectin as a safe and effective remedy goes on to this day.
Nevertheless, the media and politicians, with the exception of lone Senator Rand Paul, decline to ask Fauci rude question or fawn on him outright, a possible mass killer of children.
Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts is the latest to announce the creation of Fauci's long-desired "vaccine passports," leading to a mandatory, life-long injection regime of "boosters" for every human dependent on civil society and public transport, not private jets.
Fauci and Fauci-ism continue uninterrupted.
If the assertions withstand scrutiny, it is clear that the nation is following a psychopath who has committed Crimes Against Humanity, according to the post WWII Nuremberg Code. Kennedy says the orphans were chosen for their lack of guardianship or a lack of advocacy on their behalf. Many were children of the incarcerated.
According toKennedy, most of the children were healthy and could have been expected to live normal, productive lives, with care and nurturing. Instead, they were force-fed the drugs, even surgically intubated through the stomach if they resisted too much. Many wound up in a mass grave at Gate of Heaven cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
Vera Sharav, a Holocaust survivor who has devoted her life to stopping unethical and illegal medical experimentation on children, and whose organization conducted a major investigation into the episode, told RFK Jr.:
"Fauci just brushed all those dead babies under the rug. They were collateral damage in his career ambitions. They were throwing away children."

journalist Celia Farber, who worked on a 2004 BBC documentary on the part of the vast program, involving as many as 14,000 children in seven states, told RFK Jr.:
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a very large pit with AstroTurf thrown over it, which you could actually lift up. Under it one could see dozens of plain wooden coffins, haphazardly stacked. There may have been 100 of them. I learned there was more than one child’s body in each.”
The BBC documentary was "Guinea Pig Kids." After a campaign by proponents of the GlaxoSmithKline drug approved by Fauci, AZT, the BBC issued a limited apology which affirmed:
"The programme explored legitimate concerns about a research project involving the testing of anti-HIV drugs on children..."
The apology centered on controversy around the role of the HIV virus actually being the cause of AIDS, and conceded that:
"...the programme interviewed an expert witness who was, though the audience was not told, a leading advocate of the propositions that HIV is unconnected with AIDS, that anti-retroviral drugs do not work in the treatment of AIDS and that they are, in fact, responsible for deaths attributed to AIDS."
The apology was in no way a retraction of the documentary's major conclusions.
RFK Jr.'s heavily researched, 2,200-footnote book is now at the top of the Amazon charts. In a remarkable affront to Fauci, Tel Aviv University has awarded the $1 million Dan David Prize to Kennedy's book, after giving the award to Fauci earlier this year. Kennedy donates all such proceeds from his book to the Children's Defense Fund.
Kennedy presents reports and documentation which say that the children suffered horribly, even though "most" were healthy going into the trials.

The orphan episode is one of the most controversial in Fauci's career. But always, it has been presumed, in defenses of Fauci, that the children all had HIV, and so were acceptable candidates for dangerous, but possibly life-saving treatments. The broadside upends any medical rationale for subjecting the children, who died vomiting, blind, or from strokes, to the experimental substances.
In 2009 the city of New York commissioned a study which found no link between the experimental drugs and the childrens' deaths, some as young as three-day-old newborns. But that study, done by the Vera Institute, admits that the city:
"refused multiple requests...to review clinical trial research or medical records. This limited Vera’s review in several ways, including the ability to fully document the frequency and severity of toxicity (side effects), the individual outcomes of trial participation for the children..."
The Vera Institute is in no way affiliated or connected with Vera Sharav's Alliance for Human Research Protections (AHRP,) which reached the opposite conclusion, that the experimentation killed the children.
Kennedy writes on page 533, citing Vera Sharav's Alliance for Human Research Protections (AHRP) 2005 reports and hearing before the New York State Legislature Committee on Health and Committee on Children and Families:
"In testimony before Congress, NIAID and its local partner—New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) —sought to justify the unethical research practices by claiming they were providing first-class, cutting-edge treatments to HIV- infected children who could otherwise not afford expensive medicines. However, AHRP's investigation revealed that many of the children NIAID subjected to Dr.
Fauci's experiments were perféctly healthy and may not even have been HIV-infected."
On page 534:
"Publicly, NIAID pretended it would permit pharmaceutical companies
to conduct their dangerous dose tolerance experiments only on children who had terminal AIDS and were therefore likely to die anyhow. However, AHRP found that NIAID was quietly allowing its Pharma partners to experiment not only on children with laboratory-confirmed HIV infection, but also those “presumed” to be infected. In other
words, NIAID required no proof that these children actually had HIV."
On page 533:
"AP writer John Solomon confirmed that despite contrary requirements in official NIAID protocols, NIAID was knowingly allowing its Pharma partners to violate NIAID’s written study protocols by conducting these experiments on children with and without proof of HIV infection.
For example, published reports acknowledge that NIAID, Genentech, and Micro-Genesys cosponsored a vaccine trial code-named ACTG #218. The ACTG #218 protocol states, “Patients must have: Documented asymptomatic HIV infection,” and the “Expected Total Enrollment” was seventy-two. However, an internal report acknowledges that NIAID was allowing the companies to openly violate those requirements: “125 immunized children proved to be HIV uninfected.”35 Another report stated: “A total of 126 children were not infected.”2© NIAID’s final analysis acknowledged that ACTG #218 “showed no clinical benefit to vaccine recipients.”37 Another HIV Phase I vaccine trial, ACTG 230, tested two experimental vaccines, one by Genentech, another by Chiron/Biocine. This time, the protocol openly declared: “Accepts Healthy Volunteers.”38 As Solomon discovered, the “volunteer” subjects of that unethical experiment were newborns aged three days or less."

In 2004 independent journalist Liam Scheff covered the Fauci-funded experiments in the article "The House That AIDS Built," which served as the impetus for the BBC documentary. Scheff wrote:
“The drugs being given to the children are toxic — they’re known to cause genetic mutation, organ failure, bone marrow death, bodily deformations, brain damage, and fatal skin disorders,” he wrote."
“If the children refuse the drugs, they’re held down and force-fed. If the children continue to resist, they’re taken to Columbia Presbyterian hospital, where a surgeon puts a plastic tube through their abdominal wall into their stomachs. From then on, the drugs are injected directly into their intestines.”
“In 2003, two children, ages 6 and 12, had debilitating strokes due to drug toxicities. The 6-year-old went blind. They both died shortly after."
Fauci is under a referral for investigation on criminal charges submitted by Senator Rand Paul, for lying to Congress in the matter of his NIH funding of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab in China. The lab, which Fauci refers to as "partners," serves as the bioweapons research arm of the People’s Liberation Army.

This is the first installment of a two-part essay on the virus and the Machine. Part two follows next week, after which normal service will be resumed.
Perhaps it’s because I’m English, or perhaps it’s my age, or perhaps it’s just blind prejudice, but when I wake to the news that the Austrian government has interned an entire third of its national population as a ‘danger to public health’, a chill runs down my spine.
Austria, I think to myself. Ah.
I look at the news photos of armed, masked, black-clad police stopping people in the streets to ask for their digital papers, and I read stories of others arrested for leaving their own house more than the permitted once a day, and I hear Austrian politicians intoning that those who refuse to accede to the injection are to be shunned and scapegoated until they acquiesce. Then I watch interviews with ‘ordinary people’, and they say that the ‘unvaxxed’ had it coming. Some of them say that they should all be jailed, these enemies of the people. At best, the ‘anti-vaxxers’ are paranoid and misinformed. At worst they are malicious, and should be punished.
A few days later I wake up to some more news about Austria: from next year, everyone in the country will have a covid vaccine forced into them by the state, overriding their right to what certain people, who have gone very quiet recently, used to call ‘bodily autonomy.’
Then I look across the border at Germany. I see that in Germany, politicians are also considering interning the ‘vaccine hesitant’, and are currently discussing forcing vaccination upon every citizen. By the end of the winter, says Germany’s refreshingly honest health minister, Germans will be ‘vaccinated, cured or dead.’ There is apparently no fourth option.
They have been busy in Germany. Recently they put up fences in Hamburg to separate the Bad Unvaxxed from the Good Vaxxed at the Christmas markets. Outdoors. Perhaps they will also provide the Good people with rocks to throw across those fences. When I see cartoons like the one at the top of this page, which recently appeared in a mainstream German newspaper, I think that this may not be far off. Here, the man on the sofa has bought himself a first-person shooter game in which he can having fun killing unvaccinated people. It will be, says the cartoonist, ‘a big hit under the Christmas tree.’1
Ha ha ha, I think. Germany. Fences. Internment. Forced injections. Armed police. Scan your code. Kill the unvaxxed.
Ha ha ha.
I am watching all this from Ireland, the country which has the highest adult vaccination rate in Western Europe, at over 94% of the population. At the same time, curiously, we have some of the highest covid infection rates in Western Europe too. The government has not been able to explain this fact, but it is a trend that has recently manifested in some other highly-vaccinated places too: Gibraltar, Israel, West Flanders. High levels of vaccination do not seem to correspond with low-levels of disease; often quite the opposite.

The reception of Robert Kennedy Jr's book, 'The Real Anthony Fauci' is clear evidence of a mass awakening.
The people are waking up to see Fauci for what he is: an absolute psychopath.
We've learned of how he directed experiments at the NIAID, in which beagles had their vocal cords removed and their heads enclosed in cages, where sand fleas ate them alive.
And we've learned of how he fraudulently used PCR tests to illegitimately push a known deadly drug [AZT] upon tens of thousands of people.
And many are now learning that in 1992, under the direction of Anthony Fauci, the NIAID funded drug trials on HIV-positive children – although many of the children were healthy and asymptomatic, they had merely tested positive via faulty PCR tests, administered through New York's Child Welfare Department, who then handed them over to the deadly experiments.
Most of the drugs being tested on the children were already known to cause deformities, organ failure, brain damage and other lethal side effects.
And yet, the children were required to continue with the drugs, regardless of negative side effects.
Those administering the drugs were explicitly told that all adverse side effects witnessed in the children were being caused by the HIV infection and not the drugs.
When parents refused to consent to these barbaric trials, children's services took their kids and placed them with foster families or children's homes, where participation in the trial would be assured.
When the children resisted the deadly drugs, they were brought to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where plastic tubes were surgically inserted into their stomachs and the deadly drugs they were trying to escape were pumped directly into their bodies.
Once the children died, their bodies were added to a mass grave in Hawthorne, New York – a large pit with Astroturf thrown over it.
To get around the Nuremberg Code and other laws, the State of New York created a special review board comprised of the hospital stakeholders.
One may wonder, other than torturing and killing innocent children, what were they trying to accomplish?
They already knew of the negative side effects that these drugs were having on adults.
But the more we learn about Anthony Fauci, the more we realize that he is an absolute psychopath and it doesn't matter why psychopaths do what they do.
Fauci and his criminal cohorts belong in cages, at the very least.
Anthony Fauci is just one old crook in a massive conspiracy that is aggressively pushing to inject everyone's children with the new deadly and debilitating mRNA experimental jabs, whether you like it or not.
Going after Fauci is a drop in the bucket but at least, it's a start.

continued its precipitous drop. The institute’s November 2021 poll found
that only 45 percent of those polled report "a great deal of trust and
confidence in the military" — down
25 points in three years. The institute adds "Increasing numbers of Americans say they have little or not much
confidence in the military, which is up 15 points in the last three
years."
The military isn’t the only public institution suffering a bad reputation, but it is
used to basking in public esteem. As a result, it may not know how to recover.

The narrative never hung together for those with their brains in gear.

It’s clearly not for your health. All those officials, enforcing stupid rules which play no role whatsoever in maintaining public health?
They are today’s equivalents of German Nazis. A very large proportion of the population eventually chose to join the party. In part because if they didn’t, they were excluded from all sorts of things (sound familiar?).
One of the most striking observations made about ordinary people in extraordinary times is how readily the vast majority of people adapt to the new rules. As in Germany, discrimination here is the thing, sorting people into Good & Bad categories. This ready adaptation to living in a world of ghastly wrongness is disturbing.
But it’s the absence of responses to truly awful things, such as people being dragged away, the tops of their shoes bouncing off the cobbles, it all being “Fur Seine Sicherheit” (for your safety), that gave rise to the expression, “The banality of evil”.
We can & should resist. Reject vaccine passports at first sight. They’re not neutral. Once established in any country, their use can easily be widened.
So spread seeds of doubt, every day on each opportunity, to ask, rhetorically, “How very odd things are, don’t you think? I no longer believe what we’re being told, do you?”
Finally. Whatever crappy reason you’re given, NO ONE has primacy over your right to bodily autonomy. Our government has signed us up to various human rights conventions. They all include “bodily autonomy”. It’s THE central feature of western liberal democracy, the primacy of the individual to go about their lawful business unhindered by the state.
Insist on it, with others around you.
Look for allies. Among even those who’ve been vaccinated, some will know it’s wrong to discriminate.

Abstract
The risk/benefit of Covid vaccines is arguably most accurately measured by an all-cause mortality rate comparison of vaccinated against unvaccinated, since it not only avoids most confounders relating to case definition but also fulfils the WHO/CDC definition of "vaccine effectiveness" for mortality. We examine the latest UK ONS vaccine mortality surveillance report which provides the necessary information to monitor this crucial comparison over time. At first glance the ONS data suggest that, in each of the older age groups, all-cause mortality is lower in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. Despite this apparent evidence to support vaccine effectiveness-at least for the older age groups-on closer inspection of this data, this conclusion is cast into doubt because of a range of fundamental inconsistencies and anomalies in the data. Whatever the explanations for the observed data, it is clear that it is both unreliable and misleading. While socio-demographical and behavioural differences between vaccinated and unvaccinated have been proposed as possible explanations, there is no evidence to support any of these. By Occam's razor we believe the most likely explanations are systemic miscategorisation of deaths between the different categories of unvaccinated and vaccinated; delayed or non-reporting of vaccinations; systemic underestimation of the proportion of unvaccinated; and/or incorrect population selection for Covid deaths.

1. Introduction
Our recent articles [1, 2] have argued that the simplest and most objective way to assess the overall
risk/benefit of Covid-19 vaccines is to compare all-cause mortality rates of the unvaccinated against the
vaccinated in each separate age-group. For such an assessment we need accurate periodic data on both
age-categorized deaths and the number of vaccinated/unvaccinated people in each age group for that
period.
Any systemic errors or biases can lead to conclusions that are inversions of the real situation. For example,
simply reporting deaths one week late when a vaccine programme is rolled out will (with statistical
certainty) lead to any vaccine, even a placebo, seemingly reducing mortality. The same statistical illusion

National Guard official has accused two senior Army officials of lying to
Congress about the circumstances surrounding the January 6th Capitol riot
in order to protect a top Army official who didn't want to send the Guard to
the Capitol, Politico reports.
In a 36-page
memo sent to the Jan. 6 select committee this month, Col. Earl
Matthews - who held high-level National Security Council and Pentagon
positions under Trump - accused Army General Charles Flynn and Lt. Gen. Walter
Piatt of being "absolute and unmitigated liars" for how they
characterized the events of Jan. 6.

Upon admission to a once-trusted
hospital, American patients with COVID-19 become virtual prisoners, subjected
to a rigid treatment protocol with
roots in Ezekiel Emanuel’s “Complete Lives System” for rationing medical care
in those over age 50. They have a shockingly high mortality rate. How and why
is this happening, and what can be done about it?
As exposed in audio recordings, hospital
executives in Arizona admitted meeting several times a week to lower standards
of care, with coordinated restrictions on visitation rights. Most COVID-19
patients’ families are deliberately kept in the dark about what is really being
done to their loved ones.
The
combination that enables this tragic and avoidable loss of hundreds of
thousands of lives includes (1) The CARES Act, which
provides hospitals with bonus incentive payments for all things related to
COVID-19 (testing, diagnosing, admitting to hospital, use of remdesivir and ventilators, reporting COVID-19 deaths, and
vaccinations) and (2) waivers of customary and long-standing
patient rights by the Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid Services (CMS).
In 2020,
the Texas Hospital Association submitted
requests for waivers to CMS. According to Texas
attorney Jerri Ward, “CMS has granted ‘waivers’ of federal law regarding
patient rights. Specifically, CMS purports to allow hospitals to violate
the rights of patients or their surrogates with regard to medical record
access, to have patient visitation, and to be free from seclusion.” She
notes that “rights do not come from the hospital or CMS and cannot be
waived, as that is the antithesis of a ‘right.’ The purported waivers are meant
to isolate and gain total control over the patient and to deny patient and
patient’s decision-maker the ability to exercise informed consent.”
Creating a “National Pandemic
Emergency” provided justification for such sweeping actions that override
individual physician medical decision-making and patients’ rights. The CARES
Act provides incentives for hospitals to use treatments dictated solely by the
federal government under the auspices of the NIH. These “bounties” must paid back if not “earned” by making the COVID-19 diagnosis
and following the COVID-19 protocol.
The hospital payments include:
A “free” required PCR test in the Emergency Room or upon
admission for every patient, with government-paid fee to hospital.
Added bonus payment for each positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
Another bonus for a COVID-19 admission to the hospital.
A 20 percent “boost” bonus payment from Medicare on the entire hospital
bill for use of remdesivir instead of medicines
such as Ivermectin.
Another and larger bonus payment to the hospital if a
COVID-19 patient is mechanically ventilated.
More money to the hospital if cause of death is listed as
COVID-19, even if patient did not die directly of COVID-19.
A COVID-19 diagnosis also provides extra payments to coroners.
CMS implemented “value-based” payment
programs that track data such as how many workers at a healthcare facility
receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Now we see why many hospitals implemented COVID-19
vaccine mandates. They are paid more.
Outside hospitals, physician
MIPS quality metrics link doctors’ income to performance-based pay for treating
patients with COVID-19 EUA drugs. Failure to report information to CMS can cost
the physician 4% of reimbursement.
Because of obfuscation with medical
coding and legal jargon, we cannot be certain of the actual amount each
hospital receives per COVID-19 patient. But Attorney Thomas Renz
and CMS whistleblowers have calculated a total payment of at least $100,000 per
patient

Thanks to all
who have alerted me to the fraudulence of that footage said to be from Wikileaks. It actually appears to be a cunning blend of
shots taken on the set of Capricorn One, and bits of the alleged
"moon landing" footage—probably crafted to discredit "moon
landing" skeptics.
For the
latter (except those who've already seen them), I recommend Massimo Mazzucco's epic documentary American Moon, and Bart Sibrel's classic A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to
the Moon, which includes a smoking gun: some footage inadvertently
released by NASA, showing the Apollo crew faking a shot of Earth from
"130,000 miles out." Among the many brilliants passages in the Mazzucco documentary, there's a long dissection, by several
photographic experts, of the stills universally represented as having been
taken on moon, but which were obviously taken in an Earthbound
studio. (I also recommend Sibrel's other documentary,
Astronauts Gone Wild, and Dave McGowan's deft and hilarious analysis,
Wagging the Moondoggie.)
It's way past
time for us to stop pussy-footing around vis-a-vis all such bogus spectacles. The CIA's "conspiracy
theory" propaganda has most of us afraid to call it like we see it, even
when the evidence of fakery is overwhelming. Such reticence has made it
dangerously easy for our Overlords—with the assistance of the media—to jerk the
world around with ever more disastrous frauds, culminating in the world
catastrophe we're fighting now.
So let's no longer
hesitate to seek the truth, and share it when we've found it, because the
consequences of ignoring it are much, more worse than
getting jeered at by careerist dimwits.

With his
extraordinary new book, The Real Fauci:
Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on
Democracy and Public Health, RFK, Jr. has made it very
clear that he will not allow Orwell’s 1984 totalitarian boot to stamp on his
face. His is a very rare moral courage, and he is asking us to join him,
before it is too late and we enter into a new dark age, in recognizing and
resisting the evil forces intent on stamping out democracy around the
world. He is not pulling his punches with language as he accuses the
political-intelligence-media-money-medical-corporate-pharmaceutical
conspirators of executing “the controlled demolition of American constitutional
democracy.” For a brilliant and highly accomplished lawyer and excellent
writer and speaker, the choice of those words “controlled demolition” is
clearly intentional.
For anyone
who doubts that the Covid-19 crisis is an intelligence-run operation controlled
by spooks working with medical technocrats like Anthony Fauci,
billionaires such as Bill Gates, the
military, media, Big Pharma, the World Economic Forum, etc., a
close reading of this book – with its 2,194 references – will disabuse one of
that illusion.
The CIA has long been deeply involved
with vaccines, viruses, drugs, weaponizing cancer,
biological weapons, and of course massive mind-control operations – deadly
propaganda in plain English – for use in controlling U.S. Americans and
foreigners alike. As Kennedy writes in an ironically understated way,
“The pervasive CIA involvement in the global vaccine putsch should give us pause.”
Yes, a long pause. He continues:
There is nothing in the CIA’s
history, in its charter, in its composition, or in its institutional culture
that betrays an interest in promoting either public health or democracy. The
CIA’s historical preoccupations have been power and control. The CIA has been
involved in at least seventy-two attempted and successful coup d’état between
1947 and 1989, involving about a third of the world’s governments. Many of
these were functioningd democracies. The CIA
does not do public health. It does not do democracy. The CIA does coups
d’état. [my emphasis]
Just as it does
Kennedy assassinations.
Character assassination of Robert F.
Kennedy, Jr. is what the CIA and its media mouthpieces have been doing for
years. This has become more and more necessary as they have realized the great
growing danger he poses to their agenda. Calling him an anti-vaxxer, conspiracy theorist, and names far worse, is part
of a concerted smear campaign to turn the public away from his message, which is
multi-faceted and supported by deep research and impeccable logic. Like his
father and uncle, he has become an irrepressibly eloquent opponent of the
demonic forces intent on destroying the democratic dream.
With The Real Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and
the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, he has pinned his
indictment of those forces to the world’s wall for all to read.
Just as this new book will not be
reviewed by the corporate mainstream media, not even negatively for fear of
promoting it by doing so, so too the last book he wrote, American Values: Lessons I Learned
from My Family, was completely ignored by such
media.
As I wrote three years ago in the only review of that
book:
When a book
as fascinating, truthful, beautifully written, and politically significant
as American Values: Lessons I Learned from My Family, written by
a very well-known author by the name of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and published by
a prominent publisher (HarperCollins), is boycotted by mainstream book
reviewers, you know it is an important book and has touched a nerve that the
corporate mainstream media wish to anesthetize by eschewal.
American
Values is part memoir, part family history, part astute political
analysis, and part-confessional, and is in turns delightful, sad, funny,
fierce, and frightening in its implications.
What
implications? It is the heart of that book that had the obedient
reviewers avoiding it like the plague, a plague introduced by a little
mockingbird, as in Operation Mockingbird. No member of the Kennedy family
since JFK or RFK had dared to say what RFK, Jr. did in that book. He indicted
the CIA in a carefully crafted and fully factual way for a vast array of
crimes. He spelled out the long war between the Kennedys and the CIA that
resulted in the deaths of his father, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and his uncle
President John Kennedy. He threw a gauntlet down in the midst of telling
an entertaining and touching family saga, which included a critique of his own
youthful transgressions.
But the
nation’s spooks smelled danger in the tale and they are now more acutely aware
that they must censor him because his message is finding an expanding audience
of people sick of government lies and very hungry for the truth.
More and more people are willing to follow this brave man into the darkness of
our history and the ongoing coups d’état underway at home and abroad.
They smell a demonic author behind the Covid-19 propaganda.
While Dr.
Anthony Fauci understandably stands at the center of
this new book, and deservedly so for his evil machinations over so many
decades, it is important to recognize that he is an obedient, albeit very
powerful, underling in a systemic structure of evil, who
has greatly materially profited from the sale of his soul. Yet while this
is true, to read Kennedy’s chapters on Fauci’s
commanding role in the HIV/Aids fraud, the AZT shakedown, illegal experiments
on children that killed at least 85, etc., is enough to make your blood boil
and to realize that such actions must spring from a source far deeper than the
thirst for lucre. Something fiendish and sinister is at work with all
this with the suffering and death it has caused, and in the ways it has
foreshadowed the COVID-19 propaganda and the complicity of the mass media in
fronting for Fauci and his allies, then and now.
Kennedy
exhaustively details Fauci’s work as a drug dealer
for Big Pharma, even while his job at NIAID is to
protect and improve the people’s health, which has deteriorated dramatically
over his tenure. (It is important to mention parenthetically but not at
all incidentally that the CIA “manages” the so-called war on drugs in a similar
manner.) Thus we have a war of drugs and a “war on drugs” working in
tandem in a perfect scheme to drug as many people as possible. Here are a
few details:
Fauci has an annual $6 billion budget, most of which goes toward
the research and development of new drugs.
He is the highest paid federal employee, more than the President, with an
annual salary of $417, 608.
He controls 57 percent of global biomedical medical funding directly and
indirectly via the NIH, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Wellcome Trust, and therefore controls the scientists
looking for research money.
He has for decades overseen the regulatory capture of government health
agencies by Big Pharma.
The CDC, a paramilitary organization, spends $4.9 billion of its $12 billion
budget buying and distributing vaccines, the vaccines that Fauci
has been pushing. It also owns 57 vaccine patents.
Fauci and other officials receive yearly emoluments
of up to $150,000 in royalty payments on products that they help to develop and
push through the approval process.
He has for many years promoted false pandemics to promote novel vaccines,
drugs, and pharmaceutical company profits.
Forty-five percent of the FDA’s budget comes from the pharmaceutical industry
through what are euphemistically called “user fees.”
Fauci has a “strange fascination with,” and has
invested in “gain of function” experiments to engineer superbugs, which is part
of a long CIA history of weaponizing viruses, etc.
RFK, Jr.’s detailed exposure of Fauci’s
role reminds me of reading Moby Dick and meditating on Melville’s
description of Ahab – one has to enter a different mental space to begin to
comprehend such evil, and even then one is struck dumb by its extent and the
media’s complicity in covering it up for so long.

German Study
Finds ZERO COVID-19 Deaths in Healthy Children but the Children are Now Dying
from the Vaccine
A new study published in Germany looked
at “risk of Hospitalization, severe disease, and mortality due to COVID-19” in
children.
Their results
found very little risks among children for serious events or deaths.
While
the overall hospitalization rate associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection was 35.9
per 10,000 children, ICU admission rate was 1.7 per 10,000 and case fatality
was 0.09 per 10,000.
However,
when they looked at comorbidities, they could not
find a single case where a healthy child in the 5 to 11 years old age group
died from SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Children
without comorbidities were found to be significantly
less likely to suffer from a severe or fatal disease course. The lowest risk was observed in children aged 5-11
without comorbidities. In this group, the ICU
admission rate was 0.2 per 10,000 and case fatality could not be calculated,
due to an absence of cases.(Full study.)
Unlike
the U.S. and Israel where this age group is now being injected with Pfizer
COVID-19 shots, this age group has not been approved for COVID-19 shots in
Germany yet, although there appear to be plans in place to start this soon.

smoking-gun secret document: their deadly COVID vaccine
In short, the
Pfizer document (which was never supposed to see the light of day but was
disclosed as part of a FOIA suit) describes the adverse effects from just the
first three months of injections with the company’s COVID vaccine:
158,000 adverse events, 1223 deaths. In a half-sane
world, this would have been more than enough to halt all injections and cancel
the vaccine.

queried two attorneys. They both looked at the Pfizer document and state
they believe it’s authentic.

appendix of the Pfizer document is the most astonishing section. It’s

Unvaccinated
Illinoisans could eventually be paying their own hospital bills, whether they
have health insurance or not. A new bill proposed by state Rep. Jonathan
Carroll, a Northbrook Democrat, would require anyone who is eligible for a
COVID-19 vaccine but who chooses not to get one to pay out of pocket if they
are hospitalized with COVID-19.
If passed,
the amendment to the Illinois Insurance Code would go into effect with policies
issued or renewed after Jan. 1, 2023.

A federal
court on Dec. 7 blocked President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine
mandate for federal contractors.
Georgia and other plaintiffs
suing Biden over the mandate “will likely succeed in their claim that the
president exceeded the authorization given to him by Congress,” U.S. District
Judge R. Stan Baker, a Trump nominee, wrote in a 28-page decision agreeing to
enter a preliminary injunction.
Baker barred Biden and his
administration from enforcing the mandate in any state, an expansion of a Nov.
30 ruling that applied to just three states.
The
mandate was going to take effect on Jan. 4, 2022, unless it was blocked by the
courts. The deadline, originally delayed in November, was initially set for
Dec. 8.

another one of President Biden’s vaccine mandates has been temporarily shut down
because the states—including Idaho—took a stand against his unprecedented

I went to a elementary school hosted vaccine clinic in my kids school
district to hand parents packets that I made up that consisted of documents
from our Federal government showing VAERS data. FDA October 2020 presentation
adverse events, court case docket numbers to complaints on the CDC, FDA, NIH
and HHS for them to look up and even an article from Steve Kirsh.
Sadly the parents didn’t care. One woman wouldn’t even take the packet. She
looked like a demon possessed. Couldn’t wait to walk her
young child to their possible death or permanent injury. Other parents
looked at the first page that showed over 18,000 deaths from the vaccine and
still walked in the clinic door to vaccinate their children.
Two weeks
before this I planned a protest at another elementary school hosted clinic in
the same district and parents were giving us the finger, making faces at us and
talking shit as they drove by us.
The point of
this story is that these people that refuse to acknowledge data and facts are
in a cult. This is a new religion. The COVID cult. When all common sense, rational and critical thinking fly out the
window due to fear. They have been brainwashed. Drank

advice I can give you is, don’t play along. Connect with everyone else. Setup
your own parallel universe, connect with all of the people who are on the good
side, and then when the time comes, and it will come, I think it will come soon.

Is it not
baffling—and a bit macabre—that people tend to be enraged by the
suggestion that maybe all those children were not slaughtered? Is
that possibility not good news?
Of course it
is. But one cannot take comfort in that counter-narrative if one (a)
unconsciously enjoys the pathos of the official story (and the
self-righteous indignation of defending it, "for the parents' sake"),
and (b) would rather think those kids were massacred than that the
authorities—and "our free press"—would pump out so egregious a Big
Lie.
So let the
courts adjudicate the matter at long last, as Mary Maxwell argues here. Why
not?

It is time
now to wrap up nine years of “Sandy Hook.” I’ve put quote marks around the name
Sandy Hook to imply that I am not talking about the district of
Newtown, Connecticut known as Sandy Hook, I am
referring to “the Sandy Hook story.”
As or the
actual district, I have no criticism, nor do I think ill of
its people. If anything, I sympathize with the large number of
residents there who were ordered to tell lies.
“The Sandy
Hook story” says that a massacre occurred there on December 14, 2012. No such
thing happened. It is all fictional. It’s very important for Americans to
grasp this as soon as possible. It is quite common for the MSM (mainstream
media) to put out stories — some big, some small — that are fictional.
What can we
do about this? In the old days, journalists had a Code of Ethics. It required
that they not publish, as fact, an item for which they had only one source.
They needed to find a second source, or go out and personally investigate the
allegation to determine its worth.
False Flags
I do not know
the solution to today’s lying by the media. On four occasions, I have
been so annoyed by false-flag stories that I have gone out and investigated
them myself, to the extent of writing a book. The first three were: Port Arthur
massacre of 1996, the Sydney siege of 2014, and the Boston Marathon bombing of
2013.
I hadn’t
considered the 2012 Sandy Hook story to be false. I thought it was true and
assumed that the hoopla about it on the Internet was perhaps a psy-op unto itself. I was particularly disgusted when a
Connecticut citizen named William Brandon Shanley
sued various newspapers. That looked to me like a way for those newspapers to
mock conspiracy theory (the judge dismissed the case). But I later concluded
that Shanley knew the truth. Too
late to apologize to him, as he is now deceased.
Here, in a
nutshell, is the false story of Sandy Hook Elementary School: A guy
named Adam Lanza, age 20, broke into the school at
9.30am on a school day, went into a classroom of first graders and shot dead 16
kids. Then he went into another classroom and shot dead 4 more, plus he shot
dead 6 staff members. He also shot and wounded a staff member named Natalie
Hammond, but she has never appeared in an interview as far as I know. There is
also a wounded child whom we have never seen. Adam then killed himself.
Here, in a
nutshell, is the correct story: It has been common for over half a century for
powerful persons in the US to arrange for real violence to occur, to make us
think our neighbors are to be feared. A possible early example of a shooter
killing randomly is that of Charles Whitman in 1966. He reportedly stabbed to
death his mother and his wife and then climbed a tower at the University of
Texas to shoot students. He killed 15 and wounded 21, until a
policemen shot him dead. His motive? Wikipedia “settles
the matter” by saying:
“In the
months prior to the attack, Whitman had sought professional help for
“overwhelming, violent impulses”, including fantasies about shooting
people from the tower. An autopsy conducted after his death revealed a hypothalamic tumor.“
To the contrary, I think Charles may
have done all of that under hypnosis.
Whole Cloth — Gulf of Tonkin
At some point, the powerful realized
that they could make up a story “from whole cloth.” This happened in the Gulf
of Tonkin episode. In 1964, President Lyndon Johnson told Congress,
deceitfully, that a US ship in a Vietnam harbor, had been torpedoed by the Viet
Cong (the communist enemy). It did not really happen, but the telling of
it was enough to make Congress approve LBJ’s large escalation of the Vietnam war.
The purpose of a false flag is to
blame the enemy for some atrocity which will galvanize the domestic public.
Often, a government itself carries out an atrocity so that a false flag can be
hung on the perpetrator. He will be labeled a Viet Cong, or a Muslim jihadist,
or whatever.
In that example from 1964, the
atrocity was very inexpensive — no ship was torpedoed at all! I guess you could
say our brain was torpedoed. Note: a German analyst of false flags, Elias
Davidsson, looks at the 9-11 false flag where 19
Arabs were — absurdly — credited with hijacking 4 planes. He entitles his
book “Hijacking America’s Mind on 9-11.”
So there we are, torpedoed and
hijacked. We had better improve our game, and soon. Anyone with a working
intellect needs to join this effort.
The Purpose of Sandy Hook
To create a fictional story of a
school massacre would naturally require a lot of money and a lot of effort. So
why bother? What was gained? I have heard three purposes suggested.
The first is gun control. Certainly
much is made of the shooting by persons who do not want the public to easily
acquire a gun. And the bereaved families (I mean the “bereaved” families) at
Sandy Hook have taken a prominent role in the anti-gun movement. A helpful
book, co-edited by James Fetzer and Mike Palecek, is entitled: “Nobody Died at Sandy Hook: It Was a
FEMA Drill To Support Gun Control.”
The second possible purpose of Sandy
Hook was to use it as a try-out for later events, such as the Boston Marathon
bombing. In other words, the powerful were testing the public’s gullibility. It
seems we passed with flying colors. Although there are many critics of
Sandy Hook who publish comments on the Internet, no official action has taken
place in opposition to this false flag. (Note: It took
Congress nine years, from its Gulf of Tonkin gullibility in 1964 to its
official opposition in the 1973 War Powers Act.)
I go along with those first and
second purposes of Sandy Hook — nuking the Second Amendment and prepping for
the Marathon affair — but I am especially devoted to a third purpose. Namely,
the powerful want us to stop making any distinction between fact and fiction.
This is the premise of my book “Unreality: Sandy Hook Messes Minds.” I claim
that the Sandy Hook issue is meant to expose us to huge lies, whilst we
sort-of-realize they are lies, and finally give up on trying to
distinguish between reality and unreality.

to navigate the defense of science and truth, and not be guided by politics. He

People are starting to wake up.
Recently, I received news that top researchers at multiple highly respected institutions (including Harvard) who had earlier been publicly promoting the vaccine have now changed their minds and are privately refusing to get the booster.
How is that possible? Did we finally convince them with the data? Most of my truthteller friends have been censored and/or deplatformed. So what is causing these people to shift their views so quickly?
The credit for the attitude shift goes our best convincer: the vaccine itself.
These researchers are seeing first hand how dangerous the vaccine is because they are involved in studies in hospitalized and/or outpatients and they see the numbers first hand.
Of course, they can’t say anything officially since they would be fired or have their funding taken away.
I just wanted you to know that people are finally waking up to what is really going on here.

In the midst of the highest profile child sex trafficking trial in recent history, the intellectual thought leaders at the Atlantic have seemingly found the real problem: internet wine moms who have gone down one too many 4Chan rabbit holes.
The magazine, ever playing to its crowd of agreeable elites, recently published a longform piece by Kaitlyn Tiffany titled “The Great (Fake) Child-Sex-Trafficking Epidemic.” It takes in all the usual sights: Twitter and Instagram hashtags, 4Chan trolling conspiracies, Reddit groups. In other words, it centers on people with little power to do anything except post online and talk in groups. Rather than examining more powerful actors like, say, the CIA or Ghislaine Maxwell.
Outlets like the Atlantic have carved out an entire cottage industry, dedicating millions in resources to covering the kook fringe right. That’s all well and good, but these same outlets and infotainment click-sites claim to be speaking truth to power. So it comes as a bit of a surprise that the Atlantic would run this thoroughly researched (read: spent time looking at 4Chan) piece suggesting that child trafficking is an elaborate hoax.

That’s especially true when you consider that the piece ran in the middle of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, and comes on the heels of an explosive report — in BuzzFeed of all places — that the CIA had evidence of employees and contractors committing sexual crimes against children, and took no action. It was also published in the same week that it emerged that a top Sony executive had been caught in a pedophile sting.
