Plot:
NSA official Thomas Brian
Reynolds meets with Congressman Phil Hammersley to
discuss a new piece of counterterrorism legislation that dramatically expands
the surveillance powers of intelligence agencies over individuals and groups. Hammersley remains committed to blocking its passage,
wanting to protect U.S. citizens' privacy. Reynolds, wanting the bill passed to
obtain a long-delayed promotion, has Hammersley
murdered, making it appear he suffered a heart attack. Meanwhile, labor lawyer
Robert Clayton "Bobby" Dean is involved in a case implicating mobster
Paulie Pintero. Bobby meets
with his ex-girlfriend, Rachel Banks; Rachel works for "Brill," who
Bobby sometimes uses for undercover surveillance but has never met in person.
She delivers a tape incriminating Pintero for labor
racketeering, which Bobby threatens him with.
As police investigate Hammersley's murder scene, Reynolds and his team notice a
biologist swapping out a tape from a remote wildlife camera stationed across
the lake. They identify the biologist as Daniel Zavitz.
When Zavitz views footage of the murder, he
immediately contacts a journalist to publicize the tape. Reynolds' team
intercepts the call and rush to Zavitz's apartment. Zavitz transfers the video to a disc and hides it in an NEC TurboExpress game console before fleeing. He bumps into
Bobby, his old college friend. Panicked, Zavitz slips
the disc into Bobby's shopping bag without his knowledge. He runs into the path
of an oncoming fire truck and is killed instantly, while Reynolds has Zavitz's journalist contact murdered. . . .

Is
the WEF and its much heralded adventure, “The Great Reset,” a déjà
vu all over again?
I
remember the scenes vividly described to me by the son of a diplomat years ago who had lived in
occupied Germany at the end of WWII. He told me of “little blond kids” searching for food in
garbage cans every evening with sticks and scraps of paper, wiping butter,
cheese and any other edible materials onto the paper to take home for a meal.
A century earlier, at the start of the second French Empire during the famous Hausmannization period, reformists seeking to clear the streets
of Paris of the "surplus" population of homeless children had them
arrested and arranged for the imperial army to march tens of hundreds of them en masse
south toward Toulon, where they were shipped to the nearby prison island,
Levant. Some of the more enterprising boys tried to escape by swimming to the
mainland, but their bodies were weakened by hunger and they drowned before
reaching their destination. Others went into the fields on the island and dug
up worms to eat. This diet destroyed their stomachs and killed them before they
grew strong enough to escape the island.
Throughout history, ruling class "adventurism" has run amuck on countless occasions. Time and again
we find ill-willed political authorities - corrupted by their radical liberal adventurism and protected by powerful vested interests - inflicting great misery on the undefended public. Today, “direct democracy” once again appears to be a pressing
necessity at every level of society, as it once did in the Paris Commune of 1871. The authorities must be held
accountable by the people they govern, or their office is simply illegitimate and must be eliminated from the dependent power hirarchy
in which they are embedded.
The

including the various attempts at cover-ups by the well-oiled corporate media.
It is hoped that these discussions will facilitate public conversation about
policies - past and present - that affect the quality of our lives and demand

I am
neither a supporter of the Democratic, Republican or Liberal parties. It is
obvious to me that our system is corrupt, it functions on behalf of the wealthy
and those employed either directly or indirectly by our government and or the
military industrial complex.
Voting for either of any of the
candidates is a vote to continue the corruption and destruction of our country,
planet and the future of future generations.
I suggest that those of you who
agree with this statement go to your polling station and write on the ballot,
"None of the above" Doing so will allow us to to
calculated how many of our fellow citizens are aware that we need to throw out
all of those in government and reestablish a system that works for 100% of it's citizens. Let us do away with parties that care only
for their own self-interest and that of those who have purchased their loyalty.
This is not a sports game, we are not on the sidelines shouting for our team, we
are selecting a person to lead us into a world where people are equal,
regardless of the nationality, religion or color. What is import is not that we
choose a winner, but that we vote our conscience, for deep within each of us,
hidden bellow the propaganda and lies forced down our throats by a culture feed
by prostitutes, we know that this is the time for change.
While I endeavor to expose these
facts to our readership, it is now obvious to me, as I am sure it may be to
many of you that the great majority of our fellow citizens have been duped and
are incapable of facing reality, choosing instead to believe in a fairytale
that one of these criminals will save us from destroying our nation and
millions of lives in the process.
I have become aware that the reality
is that people don't want to face facts, we prefer to
act as programmed automatons, while those who pull the strings of government
laugh at us and talk about the importance of "our" democracy.
As you peruse the news and opinions
offered in each edition of our newsletter and website you will find conflicting
views from many different sources. Many independent news sites and blogs have
chosen a presidential candidate to support, they are forced to do so, because
they rely on donations from their readers, who demand that they confirm their
own bias rater than present the facts. Our failure at ICH
to do so has resulted in a huge loss, not in readership but in financial
support. Money is important and it makes this website and newsletter possible,
but I would prefer to stand on principle than bend over and allow others to buy
my integrity. A good nights
sleep is invaluable.
To those few of you who may share my
views on this subject thank you.
Don't choose sides. Face reality, neither party
deserves your respect or your votes.

rhetoric online since, even calling for a civil war with the federal
government.
After news of the raid emerged,
Ricky Shiffer, 42, put that call to action by
attacking the FBI's field office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Armed with a nail gun and
an assault rifle, Shiffer tried to break through a
bulletproof barrier at the entrance before dying in a subsequent shootout with
the police.
Shiffer
was hardly alone in unleashing or trying to unleash violence against the U.S.
government. Adam Bies, 46, from Mercer, Pennsylvania,
was arrested on August 12 after he made a series of death threats against the
FBI.
In a hate-filled rant posted on Gab,
a right-wing social media platform, Bies wrote
"we the people cannot WAIT to water the trees of liberty with your
blood" while referring to "every single piece of shit who works for
the FBI in any capacity, from the director down to the janitor who cleans their
fucking toilets," according to a criminal complaint in Pittsburgh federal
court.
The general rage, distrust and
belligerence toward federal authorities is perhaps
more eloquently put by Kari Lake, a Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for
Arizona governor.
"This illegitimate, corrupt
Regime hates America and has weaponized the entirety
of the Federal Government to take down President Donald Trump," Lake wrote
in a statement published after the raid. "Our Government is rotten to the
core. These tyrants will stop at nothing to silence the Patriots who are
working hard to save America. This is an incredibly horrendous abuse of power.
If we accept it, America is dead."
Since Trump became the 45th
president of the United States in 2016, active talks about the possibility of a
second civil war have entered both the mainstream and among America's elites as
the political left and right found themselves drifting to polar opposites on a wide
spectrum of social issues.
Many conservatives have come to view
progressive movements such as LGBT rights and Black Lives Matter as existential
threats to the traditional Christian values on which America was built.
Meanwhile, Democrats and progressives see Trump and his MAGA movement as
reactionary and think it represents a far-right ideology that is racist and
autocratic.
Combined with the increasing rate of
gun sales and firearm deaths, political polarization is morphing into political
violence.

U.S. forces in Syria have been carrying out strikes
against “Iran-backed” militias this week in response to a recent drone attack on the American
base at Tanf and rocket attacks at two other bases in
northeastern Syria.
The first U.S. strike this week came in response to
an August 15 attack, and that was quickly followed up by another hit. These
airstrikes reportedly targeted bunkers used by
the militias and killed between six and 10 people.
A later militia strike at bases in Deir al-Zour resulted in three
U.S. troops suffering minor
injuries, and the U.S. responded to that with Apache attack
helicopters on Wednesday, reportedly
resulting in casualties. It remains to be seen if the clashes will
continue, but there has already been considerable escalation in just a few
days.
