Dear Colleagues and Freinds,

The Center for the Advanced Study of American Institutions and Social
Movements received this deeply moving poem from our research associate
Professor Jean Derioz, Universite Stendhal. (Please see item A. below.)

We share his grief and deep concern over the murder of the young American
pacifist, Rachel Corrie by the Israeli military. And we join Derioz, the
family of Rachel Corrie, and millions of other concerned citizens in
calling for an invistigation into this murder, identifying all
collaborators and attempts to cover up this grotesque crime against humanity.
